Suppose a multinational company has a computer network between its head office and a sub-office. The head office is currently using the IP address (192.16.12.0) of class C whereas the sub-office is using the IP address (180.12.2.0) of class B.  Due to increase in number of its employees, the company wants to create further subnets  as per following requirements:

  • For Head Office, 12 subnets each having 9 hosts
  • For Sub-office, 136 subnets each having 240 host

Considering the above mentioned scenario and requirements, you are required to answer the following questions in the given table:

In order to deal with the host requirements, the company wants to perform subnetting among its departments i.e. Admin, Account, Sales, HR and IT having the hosts requirements as 30, 320, 250, 120 and 54 respectively.
